Getting back to it (hopefully)


Happy belated New Year, adventurers!

It's been 4 months, and as suspected in the end of the last devlog, my creative juices ran out for a while.
I recently got back into working on it a bit though, largely through warming myself up again with the big v2.0 update to Dragon Dreams: A Taste of Adventure. If you haven't checked that out yet, it's freely available now!

So, I've done very little to this game over the last 4 months, but I'll include what information there is.
I mostly just wanted to do this devlog to let you know the game isn't dead, and I should be getting back to working on it soon!

NOV-FEB 2024

Current Map: 4 of 9 (81/81 sectors done)

- Added Space Bar function to modifiers menu, to activate a random selection
- Made big change to consumable items (potions) balancing
- Added mana cost indicator to the mana bar, to help you see at a glance your current mana vs equipped spell cost
- Made locks stand out more, to better highlight their needing of a key
- Implemented some more NPC(s) dialogue

Current progress estimate: 40%

Hopefully see you in a couple months or so for another proper devlog, where I should actually be in development of map 5 this time!
