June 2023
Happy weekend, adventurers!
I go through phases of development, and sometimes take breaks for a month or more, so I might not have one of these every month. But when I do have enough worth mentioning, I'll try to remember to post these monthly development progress updates!
Don't worry, I won't show anything too spoilery.
Oh, and if you downloaded the demo, I hope you enjoyed it!
I know it's a bit lacking in content, not many pieces of equipment to try. It's quite an old demo.
I may end up making a second one at some point, which would include the Spiritwood map too! That would give more of a taste of the adventure to come.
Anyway, on with the devlog!
JUN 2023
Current Map: 3 of 11 (40/81 sectors done)
- Worked on the current map
- Improved the way weather effects are handled
- Made 3 new enemies
- Made a mini-boss
- Fully implemented an NPC with quest (screenshot)
- Improved hit detection for unlocking doors/chests
- Improved block pushing, to make it harder to accidentally nudge nearby ones
- Made some new puzzles/mechanics
- Added new decorations to earlier maps
- Added major quest gain notifications
- Made 2 new hats
- And more!
Current progress estimate: 25%
That's it for this month.
I'll try to keep these up as many months as possible.
Have a good weekend!

oh yeah, is there any connection to a taste of adventure's map? like the areas that were hinted at but not accessible?
The Highland won't be in this game, but yus, the other ones (Spiritwood, Drowned Valley, and Singed Reaches) will all finally be their own full maps! As well as some entirely new, previously un-mentioned ones.
