Dragon Dreams: A Taste of Adventure
A downloadable game for Windows
A mysterious dark power lurks within the nearby temple grounds, locked up out of reach. Inhabitants of the world have already begun being taken, killed, or turned into beasts. It's up to you, a traveller from another land, the only remaining one fit and brave enough for the task, to find a way in and put a stop to this before all is lost!
This game is heavily inspired by The Legend of Zelda (specifically the old 2D ones) in various ways, though with slightly more of an RPG element to it.
Explore the world as best you can with the abilities you have at the time, to find treasures and new abilities, defeat monsters, and find some way to access the Temple grounds to save the land!
Thank you for checking out my game, I hope you enjoy!

Apologies for the lack of rebindable controls in this game; By the time I realized this was becoming more than a quick little experiment, turning into a serious series I want to make, the fixed controls were so deeply ingrained that it became very difficult to go back and change it... (I tried. It was a mess.)
You may need to use a manual rebinding program like JoyToKey or Xpadder if you wish to change them, but here are the main controls, followed by less important ones:
Movement - Arrow Keys
Dash (wth modifier) - Shift while moving
Attack/Confirm - X
Magic/Cancel - Z
Use Potion - C
Inventory - Space Bar
Map - Tab
Return to Shrine - Q
Prev/Next Weapon - 1/2
Prev/Next Magic - 3/4
Prev/Next Potion - A/S
Prev/Next Artifact - D/F
Pause - Shift + P
Mute - Shift + M
Quit to Menu - F2

PSA: I don't know about other anti-viruses, but mine (Avast) detects the EXE as a virus. It's not. I had to add an exception to stop it from deleting the game.
Apparently this is a common thing with unsigned games made in Clickteam programs unfortunately.
Ran into the same problem myself. I unzipped the game several times and kept wondering why it "wasn't extracting" the EXE itself, and when I consulted my AV, it turned out it'd quarantined the file. But I restored the EXE and the game worked perfectly afterwards.
Oddly enough, it didn't happen with the original non-HD version.
Apparently it's something wrong with Clickteam Fusion 2.5 since the latest update earlier this month. Luckily they're working on fixing that ASAP, so will have to re-upload it once that's done.
